(SHE/THEY)
Clinical Social Work Associate
I am a Clinical Social Work Associate who works with adults seeking support around chronic pain and illness, Queer identities, trauma, and stressful life transitions.
I am passionate about strengths-based approaches to navigating mental health and healing. I believe that each person already possesses the tools they need and I am honored to be part of rich therapeutic relationships which bring those to the surface. My educational, professional, and personal journeys have centered around issues of social justice, disability and chronic pain/illness, substance use/abuse, healing trauma, TBI, kink and sex positive therapies, and LGBTQIA+ experiences.
My therapeutic approach will vary from client to client depending on individual need and unique lived experience. I often utilize Acceptance and Commitment, Narrative, Trauma Focused, and Feminist Therapies. I am also trained in Compassion Focused Therapy, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I work primarily with adults in individual and group therapy.
I graduated with my BS from Oregon State University in Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies, and my MSW from Portland State University. I am certified as a Clinical Social Work Associate in Oregon.
